If you have a ton of jewelry and are looking for ways to store it all then this article is just for you. Accessories like jewelry can make or break any outfit so it is essential to have a good assortment of versatile jewelry. When your collection tends to get out of hand though storing it all can be a bit tricky. If you use a little creativity and put in some time and effort you can have your jewelry collection organized and ready for you to wear in very little time.

Cork Boards to Store Necklaces, Bracelets and Earrings
One of the easiest ways to organize your jewelry is through the use of simple cork boards. These can be purchased at any office supply or discount store. In order to add a little flair to the boards you may want to cover them in decorative fabric. This can be easily achieved by using a staple gun to staple the fabric to the back of the board. You will want to be careful to attach the fabric tightly so it leaves no slack. Now comes the fun part. You can hook necklaces, bracelets and earrings to the board. For necklaces and bracelets simply screw in small hooks and the pieces will now dangle. For earrings you can just place the hooks through the fabric and they will easily stay in place. These jewelry boards look beautiful hung on a wall in your bedroom. You can even match the fabric to your decor. This is one simple and easy way to organize part of your jewelry collection.

Ice Cube Trays for Rings and Things
ce cube trays are great for making ice but now they have a dual purpose. You can easily store all of your rings in the tray by placing one in each slot. This makes it a snap to find a ring when you are in a hurry. Another use for the trays are storing small earrings, such as studs. You can place them in the slots just like you did the rings and once again it makes retrieving them simple and easy. These trays can then be placed in a pre -existing jewelry box or in a dresser drawer.

Cupcake and Muffin Tins for Your Valuables
If you have a lot of necklaces and bracelets this solution may be for you. You will want to make sure you have some sort of drawer space before you embark on this project. Each one of the circles in the tin can be used to house jewelry. Several necklaces and bracelets can be placed in one tin, while many, many earrings will fit. You will then want to place them in a drawer where you can see into the tins. An old dresser or even a dresser with a drawer cleared out will work perfectly.

Mug Trees for Your Bracelets
If you have a mug tree or you can find one at a second hand shop you can easily use it to store your bracelets. Hanging several of them on each hook can free up a lot of space in your drawers or jewelry box. It also lends a decorative touch to your dresser or vanity. Another great idea to get your jewelry organized and in a visual place where you will see it.

Organization at Last
All of these ideas can be achieved very easily and with little to no work. Jewelry like many other accessories often goes unused when it cannot be found. By using any of these solutions you will be able to see and find your jewelry which in turn will leave you more apt to wear it. Also, be creative and see what you can come up with on your own. Jewelry should be fun, not a hassle. Get organized and get ready to make a statement.

Select materials that won't discolor over time or irritate the skin. When using rope-type materials, wash them beforehand so they're softer and easier to work with, because of creating men's jewelry by focusing on materials that are industrial or rustic.

1 Choose chunky links when making men's jewelry, rather than thin and flimsy pieces. Intersperse raw stones between the chunky links to add some visual interest to the piece.

Tips About of Making Sterling Silver Bracelets

Making your own sterling silver bracelet is a challenging but worthwhile experience. It is also a fairly cheap way to upgrade your jewelry collection. Best of all, the pieces that you'll be working with are easily interchangeable, so you can always keep trying out new designs by recycling old bracelets.

1 Buy all your supplies from a local bead or hobby store. Choose several different bead designs so you can alternate them on the wire. You can read up on some common bracelet bead patterns from a jewelry-crafting guide book. Choose a 20- or 24-gauge jewelry wire that is strong yet flexible, such as tigertail.
2 Measure and cut out a length of your jewelry wire equivalent to the length of the bracelet you wish to make. Make sure you add about 1 inch of wire for the bracelet ends.
3 Attach one end of the clasp to the wire by threading the wire through the connector on one half of the clasp, folding over 1/4 inch of the wire. Thread a crimp bead onto the wire, capturing the tail in the crimp bead. Pinch and flatten the crimp bead with your pliers. When the crimp is flattened, pull on the wire to make sure it holds. Move the crimp bead into the first groove of the pliers to create a rounded, finished look.
4 String your beads through the jewelry wire in the pattern that you wish. Make sure to leave about 1 inch of the wire free at the end, so you can attach the other end of the clasp to it.
5 Thread a crimp bead through the other end of the wire and flatten it with the pliers as you did with the first crimp bead.
6 Snip off any leftover jewelry wire and clasp the bracelet together.

Tungsten Carbide On Wedding Rings

Tungsten carbide is perhaps the most masculine choice for a man's wedding band. They are very hard and incredibly scratch resistant. If you want to have a little fun with your buddies, (especially after a couple beers), take a metal file to your tungsten carbide wedding ring and file away on it. After a giving it a good effort simply wipe the ring and show your friends. To their amazement the ring will still be in perfect condition! You can wear your tungsten carbide ring during any activity and it will always look like it did the day you bought it.

At the same time as being very hard, tungsten is also very brittle. Just dropping the ring could crack it. This does, however, make it a very safe ring to wear. For instance, if you were to slam your hand in a car door the ring would simply fracture into pieces rather than pinching down on your finger, cutting off its circulation. Nevertheless, make sure that the jeweler that you choose to purchase your ring from has a lifetime warranty to cover such scenarios.

One thing to look out for when purchasing a tungsten carbide ring is that it is indeed a tungsten carbide ring. Some of the cheaper bands are actually made out of tungsten alone, which will scratch with normal wear. Some manufacturers will also use cobalt in their rings because it is cheaper. I advise you to stay clear of such rings, as cobalt will react to your body's chemistry and can cause a world of problems.

Tungsten carbide rings will fit into most budgets as it is also very affordable. Plan on spending around $200 to $350 or more if you want diamonds or a precious metal inlay to your ring.

Because tungsten is so hard, like titanium, it cannot be sized.

Platinum for Wedding Band

Platinum is a rare, precious; naturally white metal. It lacks any alloys with yellowish hues that will turn it an off-white. Because of this, it will keep it's shiny white luster indefinitely, which makes it an excellent choice for anybody who wants a white wedding band. Because it is so rare, it is also very expensive. At the time this article was written (9-10-2007), platinum was selling for over $1280 per ounce. As a result, a plain wedding band made of this material can cost well over a thousand US dollars, and the price goes up as the design becomes more intricate.

Although this metal is very dense, and heavy, it is also very malleable. This makes it great for the intricacies that you will find in a woman's wedding band. However, this means that the ring will become easily scratched and dented in a very short period of time, which can be detrimental for a man's wedding band. Because of this, it will need to be removed at times of manual labor, or during such activities as working out with weights. Even though the material does scratch easily, it does not wear away or thin with age, making it an excellent choice to hold a diamond.

Platinum is also hypoallergenic, and, since most bands are around 90% to 95% pure, this makes it a very good alternative for those individuals whom are allergic to white gold. However, since it does not oxidize, it can leave dark smudges on your skin.

About to Find Men's Jewelry at Wholesale

The sale of wholesale men's jewelry has grown in recent years. The reason being is men's jewelry is in more demand now than it has been in a long time. The main reason being that jewelry on a man is becoming more fashionable.

To keep up with the demand wholesale men's jewelry suppliers are on the rise. A wholesale jeweler normally supplies jewelry companies with jewelry who in turn sells it to the general public. With the advent of the internet some wholesale jewelers are selling directly to the public resulting in cheaper prices.

When men's jewelry is produced in wholesale it does not cost as much as making a single piece. Once one style or piece of jewelry is made it can be replicated easy. For this reason most wholesale jewelers will keep an abundance of jewelry supplies on hand.
Buying men's jewelry at Wholesale Prices

Who can sell wholesale men's jewelry? Honestly anyone that has some capital to invest can sell jewelry. I have even heard of wholesale jewelry businesses being run from an individuals home. As long is their is room to keep stock a wholesale jewelry business can literally be run from anywhere.

But have the material to make jewelry is not the only thing that one will need to produce wholesale amounts of men's jewelry. They will also need jewelry tools to make the jewelry. These tools include pliers, hammers, and vices.

Typically when a company purchases wholesale men's jewelry they will need to buy in bulk. This is good for the wholesaler as they can sell more jewelry and it is also good for the retailer as they will save money through buying in bulk.

Before wholesale jewelry is produced the buyer will often have to enter into a written  agreement for the amount of jewelry to be produced. Cost will often be lower when more jewelry is purchased.

The markup amount from the wholesaler to the not very much. The markup from the reseller to the general public is often time greater. It can actually sometimes be as much as 100% percent markup.

When looking to purchase wholesale men's jewelry there are a few things to consider. One major consideration is the work the wholesaler does is good. You do not want to be stuck with a lot of ugly jewelry. You must also take into consideration the materials the wholesaler uses to produce his jewelry. Using inferior clasps and rings can make for not such good items that consumers will not like.
